    Artist-educator Allan Edmunds founded the Brandywine Workshop in 1972 as a place to foster creativity through printmaking among culturally diverse artists and students. Since its founding, Brandywine Workshop has worked with more than 350 artists, including Betye & Alison Saar, John T. Biggers, Jacob Lawrence, Romare Bearden, Nanette Clark, Moe Brooker and David C. Driskell.
