SILT is set to a collage by TarJMB of the music by Chris Clark, Giovanni Pergolesi and Arvo Pärt.  Meredith Rainey, a former soloist with Pennsylvania Ballet, returns to BalletX after dancing with the company for two past seasons. His new work is inspired by a Chris Armstrong painting called “Summerhead “ and is set to a contemporary cello piece “World to Come” by David Lang. Title TBA.  Matthew Neenan, co-founder and artistic director of BalletX, features his new ballet that brings out individuality of dancers, focusing on solo and duet dancing, set to a contemporary soundtrack.
