 land celebration includes a Gingerbread White House Contest for children 1
 4 and under.  Each year\, White House pastry chefs display a decadent Ging
 erbread White House in the State Dining Room to celebrate the winter seaso
 n.  The Center invites local children to show off their talents and create
  their own version of this White House tradition for our contest to find t
 he region's best homemade Gingerbread White House. In conjunction with the
  Diana: A Celebration exhibition\, participants can also submit a gingerbr
 ead replica of Buckingham Palace.\n\nStart time: 10 am
