 de celebration Philagrafika 2010\, the Arthur Ross Gallery will present a 
 site-specific installation by Miler Lagos\, a contemporary Colombian artis
 t. Lagos is a multi media with an interest in relating different socioecon
 omic environments - urban and popular - and re-appropriating the different
  visual and social phenomena that emerge in each context. He uses a variet
 y of modern materials\, plastics\, steel\, cement and recycled paper.  The
  artist will create this unique installation on site at Penn\, using nearl
 y 4 tons of recycled newspapers from which he will sculpt a forest of tree
 s. Lagos will offer a gallery talk during his residency. Related programmi
 ng is being planned with Philagrafika.\n\nStart time: 10 am-5 pm weekdays
