 Compadres is a modern flamenco ensemble that explores the boundaries of fl
 amenco and fusion while embracing the elements of tradition that make this
  genre of music such an incredible art form. Inspired by such notable arti
 sts as Paco de Lucia\, Gerardo Nunez\, Tomatito\, and Vicente Amigo\, Tres
  Compadres continues the legacy of seeking new ways of applying musical gr
 owth to an old tradition.   The concept behind the songs recorded on Que P
 asa was to reflect the ensemble as a unit. This is not your typical &ldquo
 \;musicians back up guitarist&rdquo\; flamenco cd. Fast paced unison lines
 \, thoughtful melodies\, and complex rhythms interjected with virtuoso sol
 os are featured throughout by all members of the ensemble. The band tackle
 s such flamenco song forms (palos) as buleria\, rumba\, solea por buleria\
