  to dance to the Balkan Brass of West Philadelphia Orchestra at the Philad
 elphia Folk Festival and they'll be back for a special evening of music ro
 oted in Eastern European folk traditions. Since its inception in 2006\, th
 e group has expanded to become a broad musical community with up to 14 mus
 icians currently joining in\, including trumpets\, tenor horns\, sousaphon
 e\, sax\, clarinet\, violins\, drums\, and singers. WPO plays a variety of
  musical styles: Balkan traditional\, Klezmer and jazz/swing. Their concep
 t is akin to that of Charles Mingus\, who challenged each musician to find
  his/her own voice within the whole\, experimenting and stretching themsel
 ves to find greater expression to the music. Their debut album\, WPO\, was
